Any insights as this point, if it is also going to be possible to edit the file names of uploaded material..?
If not, I'll be really hesitant to upload anything, before you have implemented the mentioned fix.
To be honest I'm rather baffled by this - to me it is basic functionality to NOT change the name of an uploaded file..
