Email send error 'Failed to get Freemarker Template for Rendering'

I've cloned a previously sent email, made changes and sent it. Now it sits in the ERROR box with an obscure "Failed to get Freemarker Template for Rendering" error. Screen shots attached.

How do I fix this asap?
