Mapping Posted Form to Custom Entity

Hi guys,

I have followed the instructions set out in the answer to this question - http://support.clickdimensions.com/entries/65148414-Can-a-web-form-create-a-record-in-a-custom-entity- in order to map Posted Form responses to a custom entity, however I'm having a bit of trouble with mapping non-text fields, e.g. whole numbers.  I have questions in my form which are set as Integers, and the answers to these will be used to trigger a calculated field on the custom entity. However in order to do this I need to be able to map the answers as Whole Numbers and I seem to be having a bit of trouble.

To make this clear:

1. A user fills in a form

2. The Posted Fields are mapped to "hidden" fields on the Posted Form

3. The Posted Form is mapped to a Custom Entity with the submitted answers

4. The answers to some of the questions (e.g. how many of X do you require?) then trigger calculated fields on the Custom Entity form to calculate a total.

As far as I can see, CD records all Posted Form responses as text strings in the Value box, but I was wondering if it is possible to convert them to integers/whole numbers?

Thanks for any help you can provide

Ryan
