Actually, I don't think it counters the problem.
Problem: if a person unsubscribes through an e-mail on a subscription page (subscription preferences) and then later wants to resubscribe through our website, the subscription preferences would not be touched (as the subscription form would work with custom fields and not with the subscription preferences), meaning they would not get the requested newsletters, no matter how many times they subscribe.
Is there a way around this? Can the subscription preferences for instance be checked and deleted by workflow?
