ClickDimensions Plugin exceptions

Hi,

We have installed/configured Clicks on our MS CRM 2011. Most of the Clicks plugin are throwing us an exception.  We tried running these plugin steps under Admin user but it didn't help. 

Here is an example of contact create plugin exception. The error exception is not very specific so some help would be very useful here.

TSL 1.0 Protocol Issue

Hi,

We recently got a "Metadata Contains A Reference That Cannot Be Resolved” error message when trying to edit an email template. On investigation the cause was that 1.0 version of the TLS protocol had been disabled for security reasons on our CRM servers. Is it possible for ClickDimensions to use a later version of the protocol (1.1 or 1.2) and, if so, how would we go about making that change.

I encountered this problem before. Our test pool is fewer than 500 recipients. So we did our tests without incident. Even our "day of send" test was approved. Then when we attempted to launch to our full list of over 500, we were prohibited from doing so. We had to enter a support ticket to get help and the time-sensitive email was delayed. I just wanted to reiterate that the behavior of the Email Send attempts should not vary based upon the number of recipients. This can cause a panic on the day of the send.

Inbox preview and mobile email clients - can you scroll down?

Hello

I am trying to use the inbox preview feature to see what my email will look like on mobile email clients. It gives you arrows like you should be able to scroll down to see the rest of the email, but i've never been able to. Why is that?

Hi Matthew, could you please expound a little on how you would setup the link in the email that is sent to the account?  How does ClickDimensions know to link the survey to the account record instead of a contact/lead?

Overriding the unsubscribes

Hello,

Our marketing team has come forward with a new initiate where they would like to contact all of our customers concerning a new loyalty rewards program. From this there are two requests that are being made:

1. Can they "override" the unsubscribes and send an email once the loyalty level has been reached informing our customer they qualify for a reward? (It is my understanding that those on the unsubscribe list cannot be contact via email, but the ability to "override" this was available in a different tool that the team had been using).

2. Can we give the option for our customers to unsubscribe to everything expect for the loyalty program emails? (I believe this could be accomplished with some type of subscription list).

Submitting a Form Server to Server

I'm working on a site that uses webforms and Sitecore's web forms for marketers module. I want to create a custom save action that submits data from my server to click dimensions. When I try to make a request from my server to click dimensions I receive the following error: "The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel." Hi Felicity

My apologies, but I am uncertain what your question is. If your screenshot is intended to indicate that you are also seeing "email send is not a draft" display when you try to send your email, Courtney's previous response explains why you would see this message and what to do about it. You'll notice at the bottom of your screenshot there is a colored bar that states that the record is inactive. That means it is non-editable and suggests that the email has already been sent

Hello Brandon

It is not possible to override unsubscribes, but it is certainly possible to give somebody the option to unsubscribe from all of your correspondence types other than loyalty emails. You could accomplish this by setting up a subscription page to handle preferences, then include subscription lists for each type of correspondence except loyalty emails and do not include an "unsubscribe all" option.

Automating re-subscribe from an unsubscribe

We are looking to add the ability for our staff to re-subscribe contacts to our mailings if those contacts reach us via phone or have difficulty with the subscription page. We have a couple ideas that we will be testing in development, but has anyone else automated this or have thoughts on how it could be done?

Resolved: Apparent Azure outage at Microsoft

It appears that some of Microsoft's Azure resources are currently inaccessible. Microsoft's service health dashboard for Azure is also unreachable, so we do not have further details at this time, but we are investigating. As a result of the apparent Azure outage, our application is experiencing intermittent outages as well. We will post further updates as they become available.

Microsoft has posted an update on their Azure Service Health dashboard, which is accessible from some regions. Microsoft update is as follows:

Starting at 29 Dec, 2015 20:30 UTC a subset of customers using Azure services may experience intermittent connectivity issues due to an underlying Network issue. Engineers are actively engaged and working on a mitigation for the issue. The next update will be provided in 60 minutes, or as event warrant.

Microsoft now says they are "seeing improvements to service availability and are currently validating overall system health."
