Hi all!
Wanted to ask if there is a way to create Eventbrite contact lists from CRM via the Eventbrite connector, or if this is a manual CSV export import task at this time?
Thank you!

Hi,
How do I map survey fields? It looks like this isn't possible, so would it be smarter to create a form in stead? What's the downside of using a form in stead of a survey?
Thanks,
Mirjam
Hello Mirjam
Surveys do not map data by default, but you could map them by setting up a workflow based on the survey answer entity in which you run the workflow when a new record is created, then have a series of conditional checks where you check "is this the answer for question A, B, C, etc" then for each one, have an update record step where you map the value of that answer to the appropriate field on the associated lead or contact record.
Surveys allow you to utilize skip logic and also have some question types not present on forms, such as ratings. However, if you are, for example, asking for identifying information and want to map that data and do not have a need for those previously mentioned elements, you may be better suited using a form.
Thanks for the quick reply! For this survey I don't need skip logic and ratings, so I'll just go for a form in stead and map the fields.
Cheers,
Mirjam
Hello Dusan
1. We do not currently allow custom code snippets to be added to the email template editors.
2. The following article discusses how you can reference data in your email from entities other than lead, contact, account, and owner: http://blog.clickdimensions.com/2011/10/merge-any-custom-or-standard-entity-data-into-clickdimensions-emails.html
Hello Asko
Do you mean that you are looking to create a marketing list in CRM consisting of contacts who have registered for one of your Eventbrite events? If so, you could do this by looking for contacts who have an associated event participation record in CRM where the event equals the event you are interested it.
Hello Tomáš
The notify team step will send an email notification to each member of the specified CRM team.
Hi Rhys, thanks for the reply!
Sorry I was a little unclear. My idea was to create a marketing list in CRM, and sync that into Eventbrite as a contact list, and send them an invitation to a new event. The reason for this is, such lists are already maintained in the CRM for other purposes, so being able to somehow bypass any manual CSV export import would be convenient.
Thanks for the clarification, Asko!
Unfortunately, at present the connector only pulls in data to CRM from Eventbrite; it does send data to Eventbrite from CRM. As such, this would still be a manual task.
Thanks Rhys, that's all I needed to know. :)
I copied a previous email template to create new template. View in web browser button worked initially. But after subsequent changes is now directing to older versions of this template. Did an actual send and still directing to wrong version. Deleted snippet and tried to re-enter but am getting below message which does not allow me to re-insert. Have tried to save, close with no luck. Check for source code hiding elsewhere but can find a link already in the template anywhere. How can I get correct snippet inserted? can I manually add to source code, if so, how do I determine the "location" of the existing email template?
Dear Phil
Thanks a lot for your reply! Changing the existing Form Capture in CRM didn't work. With a newly created Form Capture record, the form is actually transmitted, but with success = no (no contact and no form fields created). It seems as the Form Fields are not mapped correctly. I double checked the answer and for me it looks like the Form Fields are set up correctly. Do you have any idea what could cause the issue?
Thanks and best regards, Manuela
Fine, thanks for the info.
Hi.
I have just tried the above suggestion. However it doesn’t seems to have any effect (tied to add the HTML element and then save/publish reload/preview). Is there another way to have/add line space between to fields?
Regards Lars
Hi Rhys
I have the same problem and did not exactely understand your answer.
I know no CSS code and would like to edit directly in the HTML.
Could you please help me understand how to ad spacing to my text.
Kind regards,
Jeanette
Hi Rhys,
Thanks for replying to me, I appreciate it. Another question, more important one: is it possible to send one customized email to one person? I understand that it requires changing the entire workflow-which I don't want to do. To explain it further, we send out 6 emails to each contact simply by clicking a button in contact page. Sometimes I don't want to send generic emails, but a customized email, and then, eventually, continue sending customized emails. Can THAT be done?
Best,
Sanja
Hello Sanja
Sending a customized email to a single recipient follows the same process as sending to a marketing list. The only difference is that you choose that specific contact as your recipient rather than a marketing list. The following article discusses how to add single recipients to an email send: http://help.clickdimensions.com/add-recipients-to-email-send/
Hello All
We are aware of an issue that is currently interfering with the ability to add space in a form by placing an empty HTML component between fields. If you are not comfortable with modifying the form CSS to adjust spacing, you can add spacing between fields by adding an HTML component between the fields, then by adding something like <p style="line-height:25px;">.</p> into the HTML. You can adjust the line height to be the size of the space you want. Also make sure you make the . the same color as the background.

This issue has been corrected and the synchronization of statistics should begin to normalize over the next few hours. The operations team found that a deployment of a service patch caused some processing resources to be over-utilized. Please allow a few hours for synchronization to return to normal.

Our operations team is currently investigating an issue that is causing a delay in the synchronization of email statistics to our customers' CRM systems. This delay is impacting only customers whose accounts are registered in the US data center. Emails are still being sent normally. The delay is only in synchronizing the statistics back to CRM. We will post updates here as they become available.
Hi.
But how do I add code to the HTML component? For me it seem to be "read only" in the selection "show source". I can only add something to the HTML component when it is in "text" mode, and if I try to add some HTML code in here it doesn't work, and is just handled it as "regular" text and not HTML code.
Regards
Lars
