Can you register someone for a webinar using a CD form?

I really like the GotoWebinar integration, but it depends on you using GotoWebinar's landing page and form. I've never liked using their landing page because I don't have enough control of branding and it looks like everyone else's webinar. 

Instead, I've always built landing pages on our website and used Wufoo forms and Zapier to connect our own form with a webhook to GtW so they immediately are registered. 

I'd like to do this with a ClickDimensions form, so they still create a record in CRM. But is there a way to automatically add them to the GotoWebinar as well?

I'd like to know this too. I'm trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong, or if I'm not getting emails because of a system error. I have one nurture program I haven't been able to get emails from on testing, and another that takes ~8 hours to send them. CD support is looking into the reason they are being delayed.

Hi Mathew.  Has Microsoft released any details about the error you mention regarding the new Traversedpath fields that are introduced in activities as unmanaged attributes.  We are having the same issue with our product on CRM 2015.  I think it doesn't just occur when upgrading from crm 2013 to 2015 as we are encountering this on a brand new crm 2015 tenant.  It might be an update or service pack that has introduced these fields.

We have this exact same problem. We have done some troubleshooting and the most likely candidates for failure are visitors using Internet Explorer 7 or any IE using compatibility mode (wich equates to version 7). Although we have one person with IE11 not running in compatibility mode who cannot submit.

To troubleshoot we embedded the form into an empty page in a different domain and it works in every case we tested. Suspecting a conflict with the many Javascripts our enterprise level CMS loads into every page, we added all those scripts to our blank page.  Then the widget form failed to submit in the same way as before. 

We thought we had isolated an offending script. We got the off-site test page to submit the form - but the same fix did not work in our live page.

I wish we could use the iframe method, but we have a specific page that must be reached after the form submission. When we use the iframe method, the "submit success" page loads inside the tiny iframe.

Edit Survey Questions

How do I edit a survey question after I've saved it in case there was a misspelled word or something? The only thing I can see to do is click on it and view it, create a new one, or delete it.

Not sure if I am missing access to an edit button or if there is a way to edit it that I haven't figured out yet.

Form information into campaign response

Hi there!

I'm new with the clickdimensions application and I want to ask you a question. I have a form created in clickdimensions, that creates as an action a campaign response after submiting. I want to know if there is possible that all the info from the form to automatically transfer into the campaign response description, all the info from the completed form that are sent by email (first name, last name, e-mail, etc.) to be in the campaign response description. I've noticed that as an action (campaign response) if I type something into the "content" box, that text will be filled into the description of the campaign response. I want to be filled with all the content from the completed form.

Sorry for my english, I hope you will understand what I want.

Hi Loretta,

If you're going to Settings > Survey Questions and opening a specific question but don't see an option to Edit then I would double check that you have the "Write" permission on Survey Questions. Hi Tom and Pedro,

You can put this script on the page you want the form to go to on submit and it will force that page to load outside the iframe:

if (self != top) {
parent.location.href=self.location.href;
}
</script>

As for your original issue, we do think this is probably a script conflict. If your tests come through successful on the stand-alone form (accessed through "Embed as Link") and/or the iframe, then it's likely that some component of your site isn't allowing the submission through the widget.

Hi Brooke,

There may be different ways to do this, but I would probably create the Marketing List first and then either use the Query to pull Contacts with Event Participations for Dynamic Marketing Lists or use an Advanced Find to do the same thing for Static Marketing Lists.

Someone else may have another suggestion, but the best way I can think of to do this would be to follow these steps, but create and populate the Campaign Response instead of an email: http://help.clickdimensions.com/internal-email-notifications-for-form-capture-submissions/

Thank you for the suggestion! I have one more question though, when a CR is introduced in the specific campaign after submiting the form, the field "received on" in the campaign response is empty, does not complete. How can I fix this problem?

We just realised we have the same problem. We didn't know about it because submissions were coming in, but apparently some people cannot submit the form (clicking the button doesn't do anything). Any idea what could be the source of the problem?

Courtney, I tried to do an advanced find from the marketing list to add event participants. The weirdest thing is that it shows a list of all my events, even the past ones, in the Event Lookup View - EXCEPT the one I need! I created this one a week ago, and it's actively collecting registrations. I can't figure it out. Would you know why it's not showing up?

Forms not displaying correctly in IE

Since a few weeks we're experiencing problems with forms in IE. Content that is supposed to display next to each other (in each of the 3 available columns) is shown one under the other. This is happening with fields as well as with HTML content. I suspect this has something to do with the forms now being "responsive". What is going on and how can I fix it?

Oh, I just looked at Active events, and didn't see it. I don't know why or how it happened. I just reactivated the connector to see if it comes back. Now I don't have the most recent registrations in CRM :( I wish there was an alert or notice if something disconnects for some reason.

I have noticed the same issue. No matter where I put the Submit button on the form, it always shows up left of centre in IE.

Standard width of Forms?

What is the standard width of a Form created with the Form Builder? Is it 600px as for Block Editor Emails? I created header images of exactly 600 pixels wide, but the form seems to be wider than this. Also, has the recent change to 'responsive' forms changed anything regarding the width of a form?

I would appreciate some information on this.

I would also like to know how I can center a form on the page/screen.

Wondering if any of this has changed or different. How do I do this:  

If form completed is via lead, assign to X employee. If form completed is existing contact record in CRM, create new opportunity for that contact.
